ive been playing my friends' bass for a bit and i want one myself. you see im actually a regular guitar player, but i want a bass that hm will do well for learning on ^^. and well if the neck and body are ok im not complaining, i mean, i can exchange pickups and the bridge and stuff later on, right.

Yeah, soundgear basses are renowned for their amazing necks

The tone is great, considering it's a starter bass, much better than what i had (Ibanez GAXB-150).

I say go for it, but I also say, go to your local guitar shop, try some basses out. Yamaha, Vintage, maybe even Squire are amazing at low prices.

EDIT: I also had to say that it's good to see a guitarist venturing into the world of bass. It's definatley gonna improve you're techique, and give you an awesome style of your own.

yeah well gotta love bass aye. theres no way you can get a guitar with a tone like that ^^

i have this idea of eventually getting this setup where my bass signal is split to a bass amp one side and to a harmoniser on the other side adding the 5th and then running that into an guitar amp (its basically a powerchord then) and have that switchable. so i could have the bass doubled by powerchords that'd sooo rock =P
