huh...

there is no blues shred.

It's a sin just to put those two in the same sentence.
Unless of course, you are simply referring to some wanker shredding up and down the pentatonic minor scale.
In that case, I can record it myself, blaha.

I play blues rock and I only have a few fast licks, so that dosen't make my solo's all that interesting. Thats why I wanna steal some from some proffesional

Take a look at Joe Satriani's library - there's a number of songs classified as shred, but with heavy blues influence.
Schecter C-1 Classic (Antique Amber)
Ibanez JEM 7VWH
Crate Palamino Class A tube combo
Digitech RP80 Multieffects pedal
Ibanez TS9 DX Tube Screamer

Yep, Gilbert, while being not that musically proficient in terms of variation, has got the "blues" / minor pent. shredding down to a tee, and has some really cool licks that you should check out, especially these two, but mainly the pentatonic one in this vid:

That's where I mainly started with fast "blues" licks, a long long time ago (I can still remember.....) [ultra rep points to anyone who can finish that line]

[EDIT: Hey, this is my 1000th post! Cool!
Why did Pat Metheney cross the road? He didn't, his hair got in the way

there's this guy named Blue's Saraceno and his schtick back in the eighties/early nineties was that he was a blue's shredder. I've never heard anything by him, but he shreds blues scales and is supposed to be pretty good. You might want to google him.
