sorry if this has already got a thread but i recently heard lossening all the strings at once can brake the neck, is this true?

no it doesnt hrm your neck, how d you think the guitar was made in the first place?

ive taken all the strings off at once to clean my fretboard, pickup covers and the gap between and the neck is still i one piece

the only damage that may be done is if you leave all the strings off for a few weeks but other than that it should be ok

if you cut your strings with wire cutters when tuned to standard, you can warp your neck.
