Is it me or are there too many types of BOSS distortion pedals? How are these pedals different fron one another? Somebody try to explain the differences of all these pedals.

BOSS
-BD-2 Blues Driver
-DN-2 Dyna Drive
-DS-1 Distortion
-DS-2 Turbo Distortion
-HM-2 Heavy Metal
-HM-3 Hyper Metal
-MT-2 Metal Zone
-MD-2 Mega Distortion
-ML-2 Metal Core
-OD-1 Overdrive
-OD-2 TURBO Overdrive
-OD-2r TURBO Overdrive
-OD-3 Overdrive
-OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion
-SD-1 Super Overdrive
-SD-2 DUAL Overdrive
-XT-2 Xtortion

I'm sure some of them sound great, but I'm sure some of them are so similar that they don't really warrant the need for another pedal.

I swallowed a marble when I was 8. I pooped it out in the same day too.

they make a lot of pedals, because the thing is for every good distortion pedal boss makes, they make about 10 shitty ones.
