Ah yeah I saw that offer, it's a shame us Brits had to miss out!

By the way, how much did you pay for that S7320 hmmm_de_hum?

yep, my jem feels like a toy now.

But yeah my 7 string neck feels so normal compared to anything else, i played an ibanez 6'er with the old wizard II neck and i actually felt like i would break it......lot easier to play shred stuff but it was slightly uncomfortable.

that's the only thing that bothers me about the 7. After playing on it for a while, all my 6 strings feel awkward and tiny, it actually feels easier to move around on the 7 string spacing after using it for a while. I pick up my Strat to mess with some blues stuff, and it feels like a toy, just like what you guys are saying.

In the end i payed about £600 on the dot including special delivery, hard case, strap with straplocks, strings (****e EB ones ) and a setup by their guitar tech.

I would say that i spent around 2 or 3 months scouting the country for this guitar

There's talk on the seven string forum of a company coming out with 7 string strats and teles, so perhaps look into that? And yeah, it can be annoying, just means we all have to buy more 7 strings!

Where did you get it from? I've just noticed that GAK have one for 458 quid, so I'll need to be saving some money for that, it's definately the next axe I want!

Apparently they're only gonna be US availability, due to them being made by a smaller-ish custom company.

EDIT-
Maiden fan - Yeah i had to pay so much because there was only 3 available in the country at the time of me buying it, so i had to pay regular retail price or wait 5-6 months

I dont mind i only payed £300 as it was strictly speaking my birthday, Christmas and GCSE results present lol

Oh right, obviously didn't read up on that well enough!

And yeah, between bridge and middle position can get a pretty stratty sound. Obviously not dead-on, but close!

dead fish- 7321's are the sex, dont downtalk it!:P

Well, it's kinda hard when everybody here has 1527's, 7320's and hellraisers...

And that Broderick sig =

I have a 7321, and with a pickup change, I'm pretty sure they're the best guitars for the amount they cost. Pretty killer for 300 quid!

Yeah 7321's are pretty killer guitars for the money, not much (except Agiles... PHWOOAAARRRRR ) touch them for value

Yep, that new one (Interceptor Pro) looks amazing, awesome specs too!

Im totally skint and i really want to get me a 7-string. Does anyone know anything about the harley-benton HB7-whatsit they sell on www.thomann.de? It looks aweosme for the price, and i could stretch over that, its just if i get that one, i can upgrade it sooner with new pups, etc.

Id just like to know if its total bollocks or not before i go ahead and buy it

oh and im planning on playing it dropped bottom string and all strings tuned down further 1/2 step so it would be (highest to lowest) D#, A#, F#, C#, G#, D#, G#

Obviously, best guitar I ever had, but I would practically kill for a S7320...

Btw, do Bare Knuckle make 7 string pickups? I thought they only made 6 string...

Get in contact with them and they'll make any pickup into a 7 string version, just like Seymour Duncan.

Okay, I'll admit the neck needing a good sanding and oiling, but other than that, it's pretty sexy!

It doesnt seem terribly bad but i reckon either a RG7321 or schecter Damien/blackjack 7 is the perfect introduction for those dabbling in the 7 string world...
#76
Which is still the price of a new guitar

Anyway, what amp do you guys recommend for a 7 string? My **** Rage 158 can't handle the low end...

Agreed, while the Harley Benton's a quick solution, you'd be better off with a more solid guitar like an RG7321. But remember to try before you buy! I was very lucky to have mine play so well without trying it first!

Oh, I forgot, I'm dirt poor, and you know about all them really awesome brands? Like Mesa and stuff like that? We don't get them at all not even used

So something cheaper, por favor (no abla spanish...)
