When I saw the trailer for the new Fantastic Four, I admit, It looked awesome.

Ive been reading review for it, though, and apparently, it was pretty crap.

KAPOW! The world’s most boring superheroes return to lull us back to sleep in a sequel that could put the makers of Nytol out of business.

Quote by Combustible Celluloid
The film hinges entirely on these gigantic, yet straightforward, simple conflicts, resulting in little or no emotional involvement in the characters.

For non comic book fans over the age of 13, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is a tedious, incoherent bore. For comic book fans of any age, it is an atrocity.

So the general consensus is its rubbish. Your views? I havent seen it yet, but I probably will. It cant get much worse than the first, anyway...

If you didn't think the first one was very good, why on earth would you go and see the second one?

Merely to see it. Apparently the special effects are really good.

I'm confused by it. Isn't apocalypse supposed to be the evil one, not silver surfer? Is apocalypse even in the movie?

I liked it, it wasn't amazing or anything, kind of a weak plot.

but either way, it was entertaining.

Oh god the first one was such shit. I guess I would see this one if I was bored or something. Better than Ratatouille or whatever.

When the Silver Surfer was first introduced he really didn't care about human life at all. His intent wasn't to destroy the world as the previews appear to be saying, he just didn't care what happened to it. That's all form memory from years ago, so I may be a little wrong.
maybe she was hiding because she wanted to be found.

To be fair, the Daily Mirror wouldn't know a good film if one sexually assaulted them. Still, the new Fantastic Four movie was an obvious candidate to completely bomb, you shouldn't have needed a review to tip you off about that.

You are a little wrong, but only a little. Galactus threatened to destroy the Silver Surfer's home planet unless he(the Silver Surfer) went around destroying other planets for Galactus.

So, why didn't the SIlver Surfer just destroy Galatus' planet? (Bear in mind, I'm asking these questions armed with absolutely no knowledge of the Fantastic Four comics)
