Hey. Quick Question here.

Because this is a rock based website, if I was going to review Fear of a Black Planet would it let me submit it or would it reject it?

Thanks

It seems we don't ship products to where you are located. Perhaps if you make your way to our office in Somalia, we would be able to work something out.

Regardless of whether you come or not, we thank you for your bank details and cooperation.

K thanks man. I'll get down to it.

I was just making sure in case I did a big review and it didn't let me submit it.

Look forward to reading it.
According to BS statistics, 92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you're among the 8% who doesn't consider rap to be real music, donate your brains, as you clearly aren't using them.

ehh Fear is not as good as It Takes a Nation..

They sure as hell weren't the only rap crew with "reverse racist" bull****.

What other bands were like that?

And how where Public Enemy like that?

I'm not doubting you, I just don't know much about it and I'm curious.

Hint: the word 'devils' is derogatory slang for white people.

Adds a rather unpleasant dimension to 6 Feet Deep.

Oh, didn't you notice on Graveyard Chamber? "I love black women and I ****ing hate crackers"

Public Enemy supported something called "black power". This is the idea that the African race was superior to any other and therefore should be given the highest level of power. That is racism.
#13
"Black Power was a political movement among persons of African descent throughout the world, though it is often associated primarily with African Americans in the United States. Most prominent in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the movement emphasized racial pride and the creation of black political and cultural institutions to nurture and promote black collective interests, advance black values, and secure black autonomy."

You're mixing Black Power up with black supremacy.

Attack of the Killer B's............Anthrax........."Turn it up! Bring the Noise!" if they hated all whites, i think Scott Ian would not have been down. IMO

I just viewed the racist slang as the ins and outs of horrorcore. But I guess I'm not that well educated in it.
#16
Well horrorcore is a largely white genre due to the ICP and the rock/metal influence.

Though apparently another of the genre's pioneers, Esham, is also racist... (he's black btw)

Noone said they hated whites. Hating another racist is hatred, not racism. Racism is the belief that your race is superior.

But again, black power does not automatically mean they believe they are superior. They are just for cultural and socio-economic advances of their people.

Yes it does. Black power involves giving power exclusively to blacks. Equal rights is another thing.

I refer once again to that wikipedia passage.

Or this University of Michigan website, http://www.umich.edu/~eng499/concepts/power.html, which fits my description too. Black power CAN lead to black supremacy and all that, but that's not what it's all about. It's like saying conservatism is National Socialism.

Well if white people and black people don't have equal power, then wouldn't you have to give power only to black people to even it out?

No, I'd give blacks the same amount of power as whites.
#24
No, the point is, if you're gonna even the odds out, you're gonna have to focus solely on the blacks, seeing as the whites have all the power already.

Not really... that wouldn't be evening it out.

So there should be an improvement FOR BOTH whites and blacks even though whites don't need the extra concessions? (Generally speaking)

It's like saying the suffrage movement had to work towards the female vote but also improving the male vote, wtf?

No, there should be improvement for blacks up to the point where they are equal to whites.

That's what we meant all this time, silly.

That's what black power is all about.

I do hope that you're not suggesting that the BPP was racist? If you read up a bit you'll find that that isn't at all the truth.
