I'm going to order a new guitar, got my mind made up on an Epi LP, but just wondering if there is any difference between the studio or standard? They both look virtually the same, both have the same features, other than one says "Inlay: Trapeziod" and the other "Inlay: Dots". Is this a big deal? Is that what makes the standard cost more?

Probably the neck is much better. It's faster I guess.

Personally I don't think a Les Paul looks like a Les Paul without Trapezoid inlays. Too me it just makes it look more quality, despite whether there is ACTUALLY an increase in quality. (This post probably didn't help you one bit)

Go try them. I can't emphasize this enough. It's the only way to find out for certain. And check where they're made.
