HOLY S**T! There is a switch hahahahahha. Thanks Red Wing. Now you're probably going to quote me for being so retarded

first riff was smoke on the water.

first song was smells like teen spirit.
The Kids Aren't Alright - The Offspring, it took me a while, but it was the first complete song i was able to play, not only riffs, hehehehe, at the time I felt like a rock god

Antichrist superstar and Sweet Dreams (are made of this) by Marilyn Manson. They were very easy, plus I had already been learning technique and Theory on my own before that.

eagles - lying eyes

my guitar teacher is an ex-bandmate with my dad and they both love the eagles, so that was the first tune he taught me. i have always hated the damn eagles.
First riff was Seven Nation Army...

First song was about a horse with no name...

Both super easy, which I suppose is why I was instructed to try them first.
I think I recall starting out on a "nothing else matters" guitar tab and learning it bit by bit. However, I completely nailed the song only a couple of years later. In the meantime, I'd say "Wish you were here" and "The man who sold the world". not sure which came first, though

the middle classical bit from "to live is to die"

honestly i never picked up a pick (damn i just punned) for a year because my friend who taught me would only bring his classical to school
which is why my picking is crap considering i've only played 1.5 years, i used to do powerchords with my fingers LOL like you use thumb index and middle to pluck them at the same time
i have a 'white guitar'
The first thing I ever learned on guitar was the riff to Smoke on The Water, my first entire song was Everlong by Foo Fighters. Dude but I can't believe how weak my fingers were looking back at trying to learn Smoke on The Water, I had to like really focus on a fret to press it down lol.
