my pretty red washburn p290 I took out the p-90s and replaced them w/ gretch filtertrons, bridge and stop-bar to a roller bridge and everything chrome,now what I've been wanting to do is put a glass floating pickguard on it but I'm not sure how safe that would be,ppl have suggested plexi but thats not good enough cuz it will just scratch and look terrible plus I might get it etched,tinted red,smoked or possibly even chrome-lined.........any suggestions are welcome here.
I'll work on getting some pics together so yall can see what I'm talking about,its gonna look SWEET!

Honestly, the safest way to do that(and easiest) would an acrylic garden mirror from Home depot or similar store.Since they are made to go outside they shouldn't etch.
