So I just woke up sitting in my desk chair, with my bong on the desk in a bunch of little pieces and my hand super glued to my penis. Speculations as to what the hell just happened and how to unglue my hand from my member would be appreciated.

Metal, eh? Well, you should probably learn at least one Iron Maiden song- "The Wickerman" is often considered a relatively easy one to start with-the solo/presolo is a bit tricky, though. Depending if it fits your genre or not, Amon Amarth (viking metal) is fairly simple in terms of guitar work, though you'll need a good drummer. I'm also rather fond of Iced Earth; if you can learn some of their stuff, (more intermediate range, but hey) you'll probably please a lot of people who listen to metal.
I'm assuming your band consists of 1-2 guitarists, a bassist, a male vocalist, and a drummer; if you have a keyboardist, then your options will open up a bit.
Every time you sit down to "practice" without a metronome, God kills a kitten.
