I didnt know where to put this but here it is????????

I always read about how when Donovan was in India, he taught the Beatles his fingerpicking style.
Does anyone know this style, i dont understand how it is different to any other fingerpicking songs.

i think it was called claw-hammer or something like that. john used it on the songs julia and dear prudence on the white album. its a more of a folk style, rather than blues.
sorry but thats all i can tell you

yes you're 100% correct it's very much a folk influenced style Dylan and Woody Guthrie have used it too on various songs
