Just saw it now. It's really a great, thought provoking movie.

Even though the Wachowski Brothers didn't make up V or anything, I think their movies always make you think. Just like the Matrix, for example.

But as for "V for Vendetta", it's a movie I would strongly recommend. I enjoy movies that make you think, so you might not think the same, but it's worth a try.

It actually made me want to take a look at politics, which is strange, because I've never been one to play at politics. Besides that, also inspired me to study past events, theories, etc.

10/10

I think it's just WAY too similar to 1984 (George Orwell) Read it, you'll see what I mean. Also, I think they American scriptwriters stereoptyped some of the characters, and when they weren't they were writing a script as if they were American actors (no offence to any jolly USA residents here, but English people NEVER say 'son of a bitch', even when we're really annoyed). Still, it's good fun. 7/10.

The only problem I had, if any, was the English accent. I'm American, and at times, the actors would speak in a low tone of voice, so it was kind of hard to decipher what they were saying at times.

I liked it a lot, but I'm really annoyed by the hype around it. It kicked ass and was fun to watch, but it wasn't the great piece of filmmaking that every high school kid who thinks he's politically aware makes it out to be.
Listen to mah discs.

A lot of people hyped it up, it's good but by no means amazing.

It did make me think however, along the same lines as 1984.

i got to watch it in english because it has parallel themes with george orwells 1984, w0ot. Good movie though

I really enjoyed the film. When Evey says "Are you.... A crazy person" after V's monologue cracked me up!

I think it was a great film.

Oh, in no means am I "politically aware". After this movie though, it made me want to be.

It was fairly good, the original 'graphic novel' however, was much better.

it was ok at the most imo

It didn't have some resounding message, it didn't provide any sustenence.

I think a lot of movies are just coming out to be empty calories. They provide the hype but no longer lasting effects.

I didn't think it was that great. I'd give it a 7 or 8.

But, after watching I tried that thing where he fries the egg AND toast at the same time- and it's ****ing awesome!
