hey hunks!

I have a Fender HotRod and I have a question about the "Preamp out" and "poweramp in" inputs. Are they what you call "effects loop"? So that instead I could connect my effects there and have my guitar directly to the amp?

yea, it means you can put time based effects - ie modulation (chorus, flanger etc.) and time based (delay and reverb) between pre and power amps. some also like EQs in their FX loop. effects such as wah and OD/Dist. are much better between guitar and amp though.

you can get that toneblaster stack at the cost of your dignity.

Well its not JUST time based delays
People like to place EQ's in there for extra change

^ Basically the bare bones of that - but forget the stuff about the being better between guitar and amp - it's subjective for your amp, your effects and what sounds you want

okey =) so how do I connect them? which end to were so to say?

preamp--->effect input-effect output--->power amp?

yep thats it - with standard jacks

But please do not plug the speaker cable into your effect and etc from the power amp

It'll blow your effects and amp up
