Hi guys,

Just testing the waters right now, so let me describe the model. It's a 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Junior 1957' Reissue. Dont get this confused with the crappy low end plywood juniors, this is the solid mahogany custom shop model. It's a Mint condition, limited edition. Features include:

  • Set neck construction
  • Mint condition 9.5/10
  • P-100 pickup (Humbucked P-90)
  • Mahogany solid body with flat top
  • Grover tuners
  • Wrap-around bridge
  • Gold knobs (I have the original amber ones too)
  • Vintage sunburst with very dark red (black in shade) colour
  • Set up by technician
  • Lemon oiled fretboard

I paid £270 last year for this from GAK.co.uk, and it's now discontinued. I still have the original box and the wrapping that goes with it. I'm looking for £180, shipping will be around £20 but free from a pickup in the Worcestershire area. Paypal please, but cash on delivery would be fine. No cheques or other dodgy forms of payment.

So i'm looking for £180. Buying a Fender Tom Delonge strat so will do a trade plus cash my end for a good one.

Cheers,

Darren.

Well I could arrange international, but i'd rather not and there runs the risk of damage. Also it would cost a fair bit. Pictures are on there way, camera is charging so wont be long.

Just one pic at the moment as i'm about to go to work, more later.

Just a note on the headstock on the front, the white speck near the logo is dust. Not a dent.

The next picture was my attempt to show you the deep wine red colour in the light, but the camera failed.

This picture was a good one showing the grain.

Unfortuantly a camera doesn't pick up how good the colour is, no justice than the real eye I guess.

Is that not a H90? (stacked P90)
It's like one, but it's actually hum-cancelling unlike the H-90 which only offers more output

United039 is right, it's like one only it's has humbucker like quality, with single coild P-90 sound, It's an ace pickup, especially on a solid body like this.

Because the picture with the amber bell knobs was when I first bought the guitar (it was a good picture so I used to as a picture for the sale) and I changed the knobs to gold speed knobs after about 1 month of owning (hence the new pictures with the Gold ones).

The plastic on the pickup was on when I got it new (it describes the pickup), it's now been taken off (hence why it's not in the newer pictures).

Edit, I could get you a price if you were seriously interested (Would be quite expensive however).

Yeah it's a shame, but I need this sold as I'm buying a new strat (50's classic) now. I've got it listed on Harmony central too.

2 More weeks private then if it's not sold it's going on ebay (where they go up to £200+ un delivered).

Well I've kind of got a les paul standard to use for that kind of music, and I bought this in a whim to try and recreate the sound of Billie joe's junior on the BIAB live album. It sounds very close but i've advanced musically and i'd like something more bluesy, so a 50's strat (with ashtray bridge cover!) should be what i'm looking for. I'm dissapointed that I spent the money as I could have got a better strat had I not bought it and saved the money, but the price decrease was going to happen as with any instrument.

Still for sale!!

if i didnt already have a les paul id so buy that! Good luck selling it. Also, eBays probably your best bet, have a buy it now price of £250 (delivered) or a starting bid of £75-100 plus £20 for shipping
#35
Yeah, this things in practically brand new condition. A very small amount of polish swirls (and I mean very very small amount). I'm going to do a £250 BIN, with £20 delivery. I'm still shocked this hasn't been snatched up!
