yeah so im new to UG so I kinda dont know if this is the right place to post this but can someone tell me a good program to make backing tracks and stuff, and it will be good if its free.

www.chordstudio.com really cool site, only minor and major chords
http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/guitar_chords_jam.php all sorts of chords, doesn't sound too good.
www.guitarbt.com heaps of songs minus the guitars
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ if you want to record yourself playing a backing track

^ i'd go with recording yourself playing the backing track, you'll get the best sound. just an fyi, this may or may not get closed, kinda borders on something for the riffs/recording forum (imo, i obviously may be wrong)
Riffs and Recordings may yield more immediate answers, so I'll redirect you over there.
