from their myspace..

"Bullet update

It is with huge regret that Bullet For My Valentine announce that they will no longer be able to play the following dates:

JUN 29 - SPAIN, Bilbao w/ Metallica
JUN 30 - GERMANY, Freiburg, MTV Campus Invasion
JUL 3 - UK, London Islington Academy, Jeff Killed John
JUL 5 - AUSTRIA, Vienna w/ Metallica
JUL 8 - UK, London Wembley Arena w/ Metallica

Frontman / lead singer Matt Tuck was due to have a tonsillectomy mid July but, due to unforeseen complications, the operation had to be brought forward at the last minute at the advice of Matt's doctor. Matt is recovering well but has been ordered not to sing for a minimum 4 week period, which means that the band have no choice but not to play the shows listed above.

The band are hugely disappointed but will be going back into the studio as soon as Matt's health is back to 100% to put the finishing touches to the highly anticipated follow up album to The Poison, due out late 2007.

Matt Tuck was unable to speak but wrote from his bed:

"If I'd known my tonsils were going to cause me to miss shows like these I'd have fucking ripped them out myself long ago. I am totally gutted at not being able to play these shows and the only consolation the boys and I can take from it is that we are now fully focused on the album and we'll be back in the studio as soon as the doctors say I can sing again. I truly can't wait for you fuckers to hear it!"

They've still to finish their Edinburgh gig because of his throat
Best gig i've been too and it was cut-short and they promised they would be back and they never came

So happy.

I've seen Bullet live 3 times before, they are an absolutely terrible live band....IMO.

Don't think I could stand to see them again, would have probably gone to the bar or something and therefore lost my place. HOORAY!

Then again HIM are still playing.....

I was talking to James today and he mentioned that B.F.M.V couldn't play. I said that I might be able to fill in their spot, and he said 'Yeah ! You would be an awesome fill in.' I said 'Yeah, I know.'

Matt Tuck was unable to speak

Wow, he's almost as attention seeking as the majority of his emo fag fans!

Come on, no matter how bad a throat you have, you can still just about speak.

Unless he's really too pussy and it hurts him too much. Ha

Highly doubt it, the singer is very poor live anyway so

I still think it will be Trivium or they'll just extend Mastodon and HIMs sets by about 30-45mins each

Sorry to bump an old thread but if I made a new one l33t's would moan. Pfft.

Anyone know the schedule or anything? Coz it starts at half 2....according to the article on UGs homepage Machine Head are due to start at 5:15, so does that mean all the support acts have about an hour each? Hmmm
