Moonlight Sonata +1

edit: ok nevermind then lol
Satan isn't inside a guitar pick. He's in here. In our hearts. He's what makes us not want to go to work, or excercise or tell the truth. He's that little voice in your mind that says "Fuck you" to the people you hate.

The first part of the first movement of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1.

Also, Tchaikovsky's Baracolle and Waltz of the Flowers.

I'm a classical guitarist and i think a really cool piece to play is "Gavotte" by Bach, even though it's very difficult (the whole piece is supposed to be grade 7) Bach wrote it for the lute, it sounds really cool.

Ferdinando carulli writes some really melodic peices. Some of his preludes are quite simple like the prelude in C and prelude Dminor. Matteo Carcassi also has some quite melodic pieces but i myself am not as familiar with him as carulli.

Have a look round for some of their work. If you want something pleasing i suggest carulli.

Fur Elise or Moonlight sonata

+1 for the moonlight sonata
This is a cliche, but try pachelbel's canon. or if you want something beautiful but really really sad try adagio for strings by samuel barber (platoon music) or Spiegel im Spiegel by arvo part

can you read music? There's a great classical guitar book full of nice things but you have to have a good technique and be able to read music well. Are you playing it on an electric guitar?
#36
CACOPHONY. They're neo-classical....... Concerto FTW.
Quote by Roc8995
Thin necks make you play faster because guitars with thin necks sound thin and bad, and you play fast to distract people from the bad tone.
#37
electric guitar on a clean setting yes, and no i cant read music =( i do have good technique though

EDIT: as much as a love cacophony that is definately not what im looking for right now haha

well any bach lute suites or anything carulli or carcassi. They are actually classical guitar peices. For something simple that sounds good on a classical guitar is carulli's 'prelude in C' and like i said gavotte but you have to be very good to play all of gavotte well and have a really really amazing technique.
