Schecter = awesome.

I played a hellraiser, and it was real nice. I ended up getting the Tempest though (I prefer 24.75 to 25.5 scale, and don't have a need for EMGs). Still, it's a sweet guitar.

The regular c1 has a bolt on and if you're getting a floyd rose the c1 has a liscenced and the hellraiser has an original. By the way I got a hellraiser fr about two weeks ago and its the best thing I've ever done.

I went trying out emg loaded guitars (btw im in aus 2)
check them out at parra and camperdown
watch out tho coz i dunno if its their battery or coz the lead didnt have compression springs, the batteries werent working or sumthing
it just sounded really soft and dead
but
at parra, i tried a hellraiser
its awesome for its price coz its neck thru
it sounded really warm but i felt it was too warm
but it looks uber gay to me =P
it feels a bit bulky too
and i also felt the neck was too thick
in the end, i got a jackson dkmg
that thing roxxxxx
i recommend it over the schecter

Most places still only have limited selection of models on the floor of Schecters but maybe they'll have them at Billy Hyde. I think the one in Annandale has the c1 hellraiser.

Schecters are pretty good value for money. I hate Jackson's flat paper'thin necks so I'd rather a Schecter anyday.
