Hi I just got my AT-212 this morning and I have a question.

How does the knob to change A/AB1/Solid State work?

Does it click into place or does the little dot just have to point at your choice. I keep turning it and it doesn't seem to be changing the sound at all!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Point it at your choice. It's subtle change, generally solid state rectifier mode has tighter bass response and tube rectifiers have that sag response. AB is the combination of the two, but I think it's a litlly more on the solid state site.

Oh, I thought it would be some sort of drastic change, I thank you my taco loving friend.
