So I might be buying one of these on Thursday as a graduation/no more AVT/my dad is awesome present. It will only cost me $350 since my dad is splitting it with me. Is there any reason to pay an extra $50 for a third pickup and bigsby? I want a bigsby, but not the third pickup. Also, anyone with experience with one of these, please share your thoughts. Thanks!

Personallly I think it looks more like an airliner with the third pickup. You might as well get the one with all the features you want instead of doing it yourself later.

well, I think the third pickup is fairly useless, and just clutters up the guitar in general. The 2p model is so much simpler and straightforward. I don't want 6 little knobs in the way of my strumming.
