The song is actually called "The Road to Valhala is a painful one, leading to the final moment where your life is layed bare and all can see if you lay down or fought for what you believe in"

Verse 1:
Here we stand
Fighting against the waves of time
This Rough dirt road we'll walk
Punished, without a crime

Chorus:
So i will fight
i won't bow to man
I will not fall
I'll hold a firm hand
So bring it on,
We'll stand our ground (Or "Our guns are manned"... Undecided)
Until we return,
Whence we came, from the sand

Verse 2:
Here we stand,
We fight for what we believe,
Until the end
Our destiny we will weave

Chorus

Verse 3:
We will fight,
Until our Final Eve,
And we will die,
There will be no need to grieve

Bridge:
We have the power to crumble mountains,
The skys turn black, All will tremble
The horizons lined with our men,
We fight until the final moment,
We will not crumble,
We will not give in

Chorus.

Final Verse/Outro:
We will fight,
Regain our land,
Finally You'll see me descend,
Whence i came, From the sand

I came up with the concept about an hour ago. gave it a shot. C4C

I wrote a song called 'The road to Valhalla' a while back.
Raise your chalice my brother
Raise it high
To catch the fire that falls from the sky

in verse one, how are you standing and walking at the same time? - maybe change it to we've walked or some such

the rhyme scheme in the chorus sounds a little forced, and a touch monotonous with the B every other line to its end

i like verse 2. it ties well with verse one, and its last line is my fave in the whole song - the weaving of ones destiny is such a cool metaphor

spelling: in your title should it be laid bare, and in verse three it should be grieve i think.

there should be a followup to this song, i want to know how the fight ends - who is triumphant? overall a nice song, really pulled me in and kept me there

keep up the good work

In the 80's a popular nationalist(racist) group named Skrewdriver wrote a sound title "The Road To Valhala" Anyway Nordic topics always seem to come off racist and idk why *scratches head*

There is a road and it leads to Valhalla
where only the chosen are allowed
There is a boy with a dream of Valhalla
a place in the land of the gods

But in the heart where the fire burns forever
Where life goes on for those who fell in battle
The gods are waiting for the moment he falls in a fight
And he will rise when the sun goes down

Raised high his sword
As he cried out Valhalla
His dream had become reality
And tonight he will die
On the road to Valhalla
Chosen to feast with the gods

But in the heart where the fires burn forever
Where life goes on for the mighty young viking
The journey has finally come to an end for the boy
And he has risen as the bravest of them all
