Okay so I just replaced the stock 9s on my deluxe strat with 10s and I needed to adjust the tremolo. I'm not really familiar with american two pivot bridge. I'm trying to figure out what the three allen wrench holes are within the tremolo block itself as the manual does not mention them but gives me the correct size allen wrench to adjust them. If i'm not being clear I can post a picture.

I play a standard american..but you should just be adjusting the springs. Get a philips head screwdriver- remove the six screws on the back of the guitar to take the plate off

Then take the screwdriver and tighten/loosen the two screws on the claw until your trem is where you want it.

Replace backplate and voila

okay, thanks. I was kinda under the impression that american trems were more complicated/ could be adjusted different ways.
