I saw the design in GGG, any other good pitch shifters for DIYers? I want the kind of pitch shifter that doesn't add Hz to the frequency, but multiplies it so that harmonic intervals are maintained. Has anyone built the one on general guitar gadgets with any success?

That one just sounds like a robot - it's not the Digitech Whammy or Boss shifter sort of effect.

Any sound clips from that design off ggg? I read about the IC it uses and I thought it could pitch shift too.

Any schematics for the digitech, or a similar pedal?

The only sound clip I know of is this one

The schematics for the digitech and boss pedals aren't available. The circuits are quite simple if you look inside one of the effects. All of the effect comes from DSP chips.

Ugh, that doesn't sound great at all! Are you sure that that effect is the only thing the circuit is capable of? or can it bend notes clean like the whammy pedal? any different schematics?
