Hey UG,
I'm just buying some parts for my HSH project.
With a 3 way switch, could I set it so that I can only select one pickup at a time? I don't really want a five way, because I don't want to be splitting humbuckers. And i'd be mainly using the neck and bridge pickups alone anyways. So, could I use this?

Thanks!

yes, although i fiveway does not necessitate coil splitting. you could have both hbs or hb single combo with a fiveway. you might want the option down the road, and its not much more work.

All right, should I just buy a whole pre wired wiring harness or should I just buy the parts seperately. I kinda am worried about buying a pre wired one, as the caps and pots look crappy.

EDIT: I haven't really done any kind of guitar wiring, so do you think this wiring harness would work? wiring harness?
It would be nice as I wouldn't have to spend cash on hook up wire or worry about diagrams or anything like that, i'd just wire up the pickups and ground it. Or does that harness look bad? I don't really see any caps on it.
