I've listened to this kick-ass song and can get the majority of the song, but there's this one part that goes up on the seventh fret of the D string that I can't get. I've glanced at the only posting for this song and quite frankly the person who did it doesn't understand the concept of using more than one string. And when he does use another string he shouldn't. If some one else could help me out here, it would be greatly appreciated.

You could play the second fret on the G string instead of the 7th on D. It's the same A.

i thin the best way to pick up a bass line is to pick it by ear, bit by bit......... that way you'll develop a better musical ear, and find chops you never thought you had at the same time...
