i dont have a proper capo so when i need to use one i wrap a shoelace round the fret, not very practical but it does the job

Very EVH style. I dont do this kind of thing, but I remember cutting my speakers to get some dirty sound back in the day. That was a long time ago, when all we had in Poland were ****ty russian amps .

i would think that, that would work unless you tied it really tight. i however have used a pencil and a elestic band for a capo, now i've got a real one.

How smart! I just get mad I don't have a capo and give up.

It's even wierder because I have HAD 3 capos in this house. I can't find a single one of them...
