I'm buying a new amp this summer. I'm plan on building a 2X12 cab. I play stuff like from first to last, the used, my chemical romance, avenged sevenfold, bullet for my valentine, atreyu, funeral for a friend, trivium, metallica, nofx, anti-flag, bloc party, muse ect

Here's some heads i've been looking at:
Orange RK30H
Marshall DSL50
Peavy windsor
Ashdown fallen angel 60-DSP
ENGL fireball E625

If I don't build a cab:
Marshall DSL401
Ashdown fallen angel 40-DSP
Orange RK30C

Which of those do you think would be best for what I play?
What else should I look at? I'm trying to keep the price under £600 but £700 at the most
Guitars
ESP LTD EC-1000 w/EMGs
Squire Showmaster tuned to D standard

Amps
Laney Hardcore MXD65 (for sale)
Harley Benton 212V

Pedals
Boss DS-1
Boss NS-2
Boss TU-3
Boss CE-5
Morley bad horsie 2

I think for £600 the Rocker 30 combo might just be out of your price range. Mabye look into a JCM800 head if you decide to build the cab.

out of those choices the Dsl50. Your spund will need to be modern and that will give you that!

but I would suggest the Jcm 900. they go for 350 pound and gives a leeway for a cab!!

Alot of those are really very high gain tones, which I don't think the Orange or Marshall are really capable of without an OD pedal...

You may want to take a serious look into those Ashdowns. The distortion is crazy on those things.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.

The good thing about the Ashdowns is that they're really cheap for what they are - you can get the 60 watt head for £300

Does one of the guitarists from from first to last not use an orange amp?

How does the ashdown compare to the Marshall DSL?

Darker voicing, ridiculous amounts of bass and smoother overdriven tones as opposed to that trademark Marshall roar.

Also it looks meaner.

Laney GH50L will get you those tones, more modern sounding than the Rocker 30 and better than the DSL50 imo.

LANEY VH100R.

£600 for the head, and you're building a cab, so bob's your uncle.

it has great tone and versatility.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?
