I was just asking others opinions, or if there were other strings I could try.

I use Ernie Balls. I just replaced my D string with one of them and oh my God what quality that string was! Such beauty coming from that string. It was seriously orgasmic.... I can't wait till I locate my wire cutters so that I can replace the rest of them.

i used to have all my guitars strung with ernie balls, then I found out Curt Mangan(ex employee of EB) strings. Felt just the same, but lasts longer, and way cheaper than EB's. So i switched . Im using .11 on my E standard guitars, and a .13 for C standard.

It cracks me up that people make threads asking for people to tell them what strings to use.. Are you people so incapable of making decisions yourselves? $3000 amp I can understand asking, $1000 guitar I can understand.. But a $5 set of strings.. Seriously just go and buy some.

Blue Steel are my favs but too expensive so I use D'Addario most of the time.
#19
^ +1. It's all personal preference, and as said at 5 bucks a pack (or a bit more for blue steel's) they are cheap enough to just dick around with til you find a set you really like.

TS, I find it incredibly ironic that your sig is about the spelling of Lynyrd Skynyrd, yet you can't spell "disgust"?

I use ernie ball 9s and 10s. Someone gave me a pack of 10s and i just thought "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I did go through a phase of using fenders, and... the high E always broke.

It's the Internet not a Spelling Test.

BTW, I am only asking opinions because I am a very slow guitar stringer.

I use .9 Super Slinkies on my trem guitars and .10 Regular Slinkies on my hardtail guitars.

I use D'addarios on both of my guitars, I like them a lot. They sound nice and last quite a long time.
#28
D'addarios are the only strings i've ever actually broken...
