As the title says, is the Epiphone Valve Standard worth the extra £115 (I'm comparing GAK prices here) for the Gain/EQ section or should i just get the Valve Junior? i don't think i'd use the DSP section on the standard though.

i guess the advantage is you could get a bit of overdrive from the valve standard (or special) without cranking the volume, but you could save the money with the valve junoir and get a good overdrive or EQ pedal.

i see, so would the Junior be the better option saying i have a few pedals anyways? I'm obviously going to try them in the long run.
