okay, how do you acually use a metronome because i can play using one but i dont know how to do like 16ths or 8ths i can probably do 4ths but i pretty much stick with 2 is that bad?

do you mean how to count it out? for eighths its 2 notes for each beat and for sixtenth its 4 for each beat.

but how do you count 4 notes between tick tick tick tick tick going at 140

so would this be 2, 4, what?

oh. i tought that if you played 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 that would be 2's becayse your playing 2 between every tick ahah, but it would acually be 8th notes right?

other then the metronome it is very smart to keep your own rhythm as well. try tapping your foot on the ground, or something else that suits you (as you will arrive at the point when you are too loud to hear the metronome). Eventually, you will come to terms with it. God knows I did. It took me a while though
