I've decided that I might as well get either the Jimmie Vaughan Tex-Mex Strat or the Classic Player's 50's strat.

I found the Classic Player's Strat at www.gak.co.uk for £360 which on some american websites such as musiciansfriend.com and music123.com is $799 which is around £400 which is odd as it's actually cheaper in the UK?!?!?!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which would be a better guitar in terms of tone, quality and feel from their experience.

Tomorrow I'll try to test the guitars in Denmark Street, London where everything is overpriced but I want to know what people think of these guitars beforehand.

P.S. If you have better suggestions for similar priced guitars please say cus it would be really helpful.

Cheers

I'm going to be buying a 50's classic strat, after playing a MIM SSS strat i'm suprised it's actually really nice and the classic 50's is going to be much better.
