Can someone give me advice on Delay.

Supposedly it's a neccesity of a pedal, can someone tell me why?

Also, which is best...

Boss DD-3
Boss DD-6
Digitech Digidelay
Line 6 Delay Modeler

The L6 seems the best, but can you guys tel me your opinions?

It's not something you NEED to have, but it is nice to spruce up your tone for leads, cleans, etc.

I would think you should add the DMM, as well.

The newer Line 6's break easily but they sound pretty solid. The EHX Deluxe memory man and the stereo memory man are both absolutely killer.

Music can't really be judged, since it's all on the same level. Unless it's screamo. then it sucks.

Are you kidding?!?!

The Tonecore pedals are the size and weight of a brick, one blow to the head with one and you're down for the count.

Do any other delays have the effect of 'sweep echo' as demo'd here?

Also, I found a great deal on the L6, but don't want to wasit the 75 bucks if it's not worth it. Should I jsut go for the Boss or EHX or Digitech?

One question...

The stereo man seems great, but is it only stereo, or does it work mono as well?

It gives it a more..."epic" feel...

I don't like using that word.

But yeah, I do like delay and reverb when it's used right.
