This song, is beyond personal to me. I'm not going to give the actual meaning of the song because I belive it would ruin the fun, or the emotion of the song. Enjoy

Crit 4 Crit

I’m sure you can't stand my aggravation
I'd love to see you claw your way outa my cage
I'm broken, restless speechless
I'm broken from the inside,
For now, all I care about is me

I'm broken, restless speechless
I am broken from the inside

I don't know if you can tell me what mask to wear
Because today I’d like to go without a face
A blank slate soaking in the battery acid
These walls are about to ruin me

I'm broken, restless speechless
I am broken from the inside

These are words from something inexperienced
Something that is always developing
Growing and awakening
Cage is broken
All it cares about is me

I'm broken, restless speechless
I am broken from the inside

The arrow belongs to me. Why are you kids using it all of a sudden?

As for the lyrics, sure they're personal, but they're so abstract that theyre too personal. Unless someone were going through something that made he or she feel the same way you detail in your song, these lyrics wouldn't hit an emotional chord with any listeners. Granted, lyrics go with music, and with fitting music I'm sure these lyrics would stand up. On purely literary judgement, there isn't much there, just a lot of agitation and the imagery of battery acid.

That's my two cents.

Truly Ninja... I don't really see how you think its "so abstract". I think it represents a power struggle, a restless person who needs to get out and do something
