i need something sorta cheap(300-500)thats good for gigging. the sound of my band is kinda funky...or atleast on my end. i play funk stuff and the other guitar player plays heavier stuff. mostly just wailing on the wah. but the tone of john frusciante(red hot chili peppers) is probably the closest to what i need...just not as cool cause i cant buy marshalls.

hmmm...maybe a vox? I dunno how funky you can make them but they have a nice warm tone and a bunch of effects.

Possibly the only B.C rich fan on UG

300-500? Funky, thick clean tone, you say?

Little out of your price range, but worth it in the end.

These two will get you what you need for your budget, but they're "barely used - full warranty." Mind playing used?

vox probably. look for a used marshall or even a traynor (good amps, theyre made in canada)

in your set up list it doesnt list any delay effects? but i went to your music page...and head rush obviously has some delay. but yea i never thought of looking for a used marshall...and i'll check out those traynor amps.

I second your recommendation, they have awesome clean tones. Perfect for what TS plays. You will be able to easily pick up one used.

well i'll definetely look into those peavey amps. are they any good distorted? like not too much distortion, just low gain stuff. or sometimes i use a lot of gain with fuzz distortion and have the EQ really low and such.

well i've been referred to traynor twice. so i might look into those a little more.
