Hello!

I'm currently thinking of purchasing the Dean ML 79'
It's everything i want in a guitar! A set neck, a cool shape and probably a cool sound. But i want to know what the people think, is it easy to play on and so on and so forth. If you've played a dimebag model, please share your experiences too.

Thanks for answers!

I've played a Dime o Flame and a 79':
Dime o Flame
-Paint job is a bit pixel-y
-Tone is great for metal
-Floyd is perfect for squeling
-Dimebucker gives great harmonics
-Neck humbucker is superb for cleans
The 79'
-No floyd (a plus in MY opinion)
-Great cleans
-Distortion is good but not great
-The Brazilia burst looks amazing

I don't think you can go wrong with either, my friend has had a Dime o Flame for a year and a half now and I love it, and he's had no problems with it. As for the 79', it's just the Dime o Flame without a dimebucker, paintjob, and floyd.
