Is it normal for my new valveking head to get so warm in the back while im playing it...this is my first halfstack so its probably normal but i did notice it gets awfully warm back there after not that long of playing..

ya depending on the position of the valves... this is because in order for the amp to work properly the valve must heat up and if its near the back it could also heat that up

ok just making sure...i have eben playing it for about an hour straight now and after turning it off the back was very hot...the metal grill in back could almost burn your hand if you left it there for long enoguh...but if you say this is ok..
