Is anyone a...

...GIGANTIC...

...fan of The Smiths

but doesn't like Morrissey's music?

Either because of his personality or something else?

Anyway, I love them both, but I love the Smiths considerably more.

Classic Rawk? Don't think so.

Anyway, The Smiths are great. Johnny Marr is so underrated. It's frightening. Morrissey, on the other hand. Don't know what to say. I guess I like him, he says very intelligent things (except the whole vegan-thing. Not that it's stupid, I just don't agree). Some people think he's a douchebag, don't agree at all. He's just very honest about his opinions, which is good in my opinion. I respect that.

I actually am more familiar with Morrissey's solo material then the Smiths... so I guess I like him better.
Dem Dry Bones
Current read: I Am America (And You Can Too) (Stephen Colbert)
Album of the Week: Four Thieves Gone (The Avett Brothers)

It shouldn't really be in the 80's rock Forum either. Alt/Indie is where it should go, actually. There's a huge Smiths thread there already.
