Right now i have an ok beginner/intermediat electric guitar and i cant decide if i should just save for a year or so and get an american strat or a gibson les paul or if i should just get a step up guitar like his one http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_epiphone_les_paul_custom_flametop_electric_guitar?full_sku=100423281
or a diffrent epi. i play classic rock and blues so a strat is a possibility too. but i love the lp so much. so should i save up for a great guitar or for a better guitar.

Holy beejezus that guitar is overpriced.

Check out a Michael Kelly Patriot.

Far better value for the price. Better build construction, tone, and playability.

Also check out the Agile Les Pauls at www.rondomusic.net.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

^Look up an Agile Les Paul copy of sorts, they used to be all the rage on UG a while ago.

An Epiphone Les Paul (copy, it's still a copy :p) Standard and upwards are pretty good but the quality control on them isn't so great. If you do get one, try one at a store.
