Here is me with guitar number 2. Spruce top sepelle back and sides and a neck that was made for my big fat fingers. It's a full 1" thick.

Had to chop my hair off so that I could immigrate but I'm growing it back again. I miss the dreads though.

Yes the soundhole is where it looks like it is. I've done lots of experimenting with soundhole placement over the last 5 or 6 years. I find that the upper trebble bout is the magic spot for the sound I am looking for. Here is a couple pictures of one of my experiments from 2 or 3 years ago.

Dix Fix, you are evil.

I've wanted an all-metal bodied dobro guitar for a loooong time... although I'd rather have a tricone than a single...

Naw I love the single.
It is like the song says (by Paul Simone : Gracelands)
"Shining like a national guitar". LOL

This is the only one I have lying around.

Tanglewood TW-115ST-CE

Has to be the best value guitar I've ever played. I had to have it. It cost me £225 with my haggling skills for a solid guitar. That's right, not just solid top, but back and sides too Didn't think I'd get a nice non-laminate for less than £400 but I did. Solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. A B-Band preamp unit in it.

Seriously, Tanglewood guitars are great value. I highly recommend them.

I need to restring it actually...can't decide which make and gauge to get though. Elixir 12's perhaps...
