I would really appreciate some help with my next purchase. I can't decide whether to buy a chorus or a phaser. I'm going to buy either a Small Stone or a Small Clone, and I like both effects, but I've only had limited experience with either effect. I was just wondering which I should buy to make my solos and leads just, well, 'sweet', for lack of a better adjective. Obviously the best way to achieve a sweet solo is to practice, so I've got that covered. I'm hoping you can give me your opinions on both effects and their effects on my lead tone (usually overdriven/distorted in the styles of hendrix or gilmour (obviously those are two very different tones, but you know what I mean)). So help me out, small stone or small clone?

Chorus sounds cooler with clean or at least i think so. if you get a phaser you'll find you don't use it tooo often. it's really fun. but it can get annoying if you use it too much.

/\ Tru Dat.

I love phaser, just because its really noticable and I like the space/alien things it can do.
I've also placed my boss ph-3 infront of my Overdrive, and I've got it sounding like a wah, so it doubles up as that.
Chorus to me is incredibly pointless, but thats just my opinion.
