If you're hard-rock / metal you might wanna choose the schecter
for other music-genre's you might check out the Fender Stratocaster Lite-Ash (or Telecaster)
or a second hand one...

ahh,,, metal, i can play eruption, and i play it a lot so whatever sounds best for that, and like ozzys stuff, megadeth etc.
#8
If you are into metal then I would get the Schecter, it's harder to get a heavy sound with single coils.

Schecter then ...
C-1 (FR if you want a Floyd)

i was ganna get the c1 fr but i heard it sucks so... no fr
#10
sucks in what way?
It's a pretty good guitar for it's value but if you're not planning to use the FR often I'd also advise you to take a non-floyd C-1 (or Omen)

The C1 FR is a decent guitar for it's price - It could be made better with a trem and pickup swap. I liked it, thought it was solid and comfortable. It's one of those instruments you can mod to hell and create a real demon.

i haven't played a schecter yet but since i don't like their body shapes at all i say go for a fender with a humbucker in the bridge.
