Hi there

I have a problem... I'm in high school and it's time to take some cash from my parents. They gave me some money but now I have a problem what to buy. Here are three options:

A) Electro-Harmonix Big Muff PI
B) MP3 player
C) Acoustic Guitar

I play a lot of Red Hot Chili Peppers music and I'm a big fan of John Frusciante. My pedals are at the bottom so you can see that I already have a Big Muff but it's not true because I just borrowed it from my class mate. That's why one of the options is a new Muff. MP3 player is also a thing that I want but I think it's not so necessary. And option number three is an Acoustic guitar. I only have a Fender 62' reissue and Epiphone Les Paul but no acoustic. It's quite necessary for vacations and so on.

What would you choose? A, B or C?

Well as I said it's my mates' Muff. It's American but I know that after Chilis concert in Poland he wants to learn something what John plays and he wants it back. So I think from the next week I won't have it anymore.

Get a MP3 player. You wont be dissapointed. I reccomend the Sansa e260 series of mp3 players. If not get a acoustic and play maynards hidden song or all i can do is write about it.

Well I'm a kind of person when I have some money I spent everything on what I need. Of course I need a new amp but I know that on Christmas I will get a new tube amp so it's not so necessary. MP3? I'm not sure about it. I thought nobody will tell me to buy mp3.

But maybe I should buy something different. I mean the pedal but phaser or something?

you can get Zen micro's on ebay for about £30 and they are pretty good 5gig mp3 players. Get a MUFF though, nothing like a good bit of MUFF everytime you play guitar.

I think the best choice is C). You can take the acoustic guitar for the camp or something like this...this kind of guitar has the best sound from all other guitars. MP3 player isn't so necessary for You because You have a discman
Big Muff You can borrow from Your class mate again...

please correct my if i write something wrong because I from Poland and my English is bad

Well I think that I don't have so much money for a decent acoustic. If I will choose an acoustic then I will have to wait until I get some more cash. But as I said I'm not kind of patient person...

Well... I don't know... I think I'll buy a Big Muff.... I don't know but for Frusciantes' tones it's great.... and an acoustic.... I know it's cool and I love playing on acoustics.... few days ago I was in my best friends' house and We played on his acoustic... it's great but Muff is more necessary...

If I were you, I would never have bought any of those pedals so I would have had enough money to get out of MG hell.

My MG is perfect for my flat. So I if I would have a 40W Tube Amp I would kill all my neighbours. For some gigs and rehearses I'm borrowing 75W Randall.
