Ok so i've owned a Fender Highway 1 Tele for a few months now and I like it. HOWEVER I have recently been given quite a bit of money by a very kind and rich uncle...

So my question is would it be worth trading in my Highway 1 for an all out American Telecaster? What are the main diffferences?

I will also be getting some new effects as well.

Mark.

Well my Tele does cover my musical 'style', clean rock and indie tone wise that's why I am asking whether an American is much of an improvement ie. pickups, finish and overall feel. I'm really not after another different guitar.
