I didnt really dig it, its all just breathing practices and stuff, nothing on actually HOW to scream. I thought it sucked. But thats just me.

The breathing techniques are extremely important. I found it a worthwhile purchase.

Once you know the breathing techniques, you can kind of pick up on how to do it yourself.

our vocalist watched it and he said it helps quite a bit if you have the ability to scream, it was more along the lines of something that corrects the wrong technique he said

Explain it to your mum, and don't worry about your dad. All dads think their children are dissappointments.

well everybody thanks for the help, it all of a sudden just clicked and i know how to scream now, i just have to practice and make it better. if anybody could help me with some new approaches or techniques i mean to say, they would me greatly appreciated.

try to scream in a fashion where your voice is still apparant, it sounds more natural and overall more intense

examples of vocalists who do this

Keith Buckley- Every Time I Die

I just blanked on his name but Poison the Well's vocalist has gotten really good at it.

Edit: also Chino from the Deftones on the Around the Fur album.
They say good things come in small packages. You know what else comes in small packages? Unrelenting pain and horror.

Just ****ing scream. How hard can it be?

Better yet be an individual and do vocals how it fits you, don't try force yourself. You'll just sound lame.
