I have no idea what this pedal does, because it dosent work, so I wish to fix it, but because of my lack of knowledge as to what pedal it is, I cant find a schematic.

Any help will be greatly accepted.

here is what I know...

It is my Dad's pedal, he got It in 1980, it is an MXR pedal, you can tell because the inside says MXR INNOVATIONS. He painted over it with cow spots, I suspect that he was high on something. you can tell by some of the scratched off paint that it was at one point gold, but that might not be the original color, because there is no way of telling how many coats of paint my dad put on.

it has two knobs, and I can tell by the bit of scratched off paint that the one on the left says OUTPUT.

PLEASE HELP ME!

well... there is a number on the inside that says 101-2004, but from some research I found that that is on all of the pre-1984 mxr pedals.

It could be a few different things. The Dyna Comp, Distortion+, and the Blue Box all have two knobs and the "output" label on the left.
It's probably a Distortion + because thats the only gold colored MXR pedal (if that is really the original paint).

A D+ doesn't have many components at all. The IC could be marked
somewhere with the numbers 741, 071 or 061. There should also be
two diods (little components in glass bodies) sitting next to eachother.

... and I happen to like it... a lot!!!

If there are more than one IC in it and one of them has 14 legs and
the numbers 4013 somehow on the top... it is a Bluebox...

Gee I'm getting boring, thinking out loud. I'm off to bed now...

You go sodder mate, good luck...
Before you sodder ( can't help myself, sorry ), just turn the knobs like twenty times each.
If the pedal has been laying around for some time oxid layers could have formed on the pots.
If the IC is in a socket (wich I dont think but...), gently pull it up a little and push it back... do this
a couple of times...
Them IC's... what do they read?

Some contact cleaner wouldnt hurt anything if you wanna spray that in there when you're working on it.
Feel free to call me Kyle.
