It's as quiet as quiet can possibly be
As I lay within hundreds of dead-seeming trees
The light could drip down from our moon and our stars
But here there's no signal from towers or bars
Let alone be there light, we just pray for some sound
But never will it come as we're all choked around

I've come across the place where the world died
Where a corpse is always lurking
And the bitter growls and angel howls
Never stop from working
Into the great tapestry
Of frightening height and show
I'm a killer now of late know-how
To keep the secret burning

It takes a long time in and a short time out
Nothing is heard, but silence and drought
Of the wind, its never here
Get in a circle, gather near
Let us pray for her wailing soul
Tied to the tree as she's taking the pole

I've come across the place where the world died
Where white worshippers are jerking
And the bitter growls and angel howls
Forever will be turning
Into the great tapestry
Of perfect life we know
I'm a killer now of late know-how
To keep the madness churning

There's a dog with eyes as red as the sea
Which Moses parted for his people to be
Slaughtered and hated and entirely debated
In every cause, you can feel the anger stated
Long ago that still will show up here real slow
For breath of sweet evil entangles us all

I've come across the place where the world died
Where myself has started learning
And the bitter growls and angel howls
Are inclined to start the curing
Into the great tapestry
Of the passing of the crow
I'm a killer now of great know-how
Whose underminded this silent blow

A ghastly image has veiled all our sight
Of anything, but grey-drenched fright
Death, death is all around
Its the only thing to calm us down
Its not so bad when we all agree
To stomp out the fire and pick up our feet

ok, underminded or undermined really works either way I think, so idk. and the song is about a very locally popular haunted woods area in peru, IN that has a history. its basically a history of it and the way it is now. you can google it if you want, its called okie pinokie. taking the pole is a reference to a girl who was tied down and raped by satan worshippers there.
