they're very nice, but in the USA? maybe not. there's a lot you can buy for $2000 in the USA. Here in europe they're cheaper than, say, mesa, while in the USA mesa/splawn etc. are likely to be cheaper.

You'd need to try it though, a lot of it will be personal preference.

koch makes awesome amps but you MUST play them extensively before buying. for the price of one of their amps you can pretty much anything else you want. sure its high quality, well made, etc but with high caliber amps its about the subtle things and personal preferences.
