I know a lot of us here, if any at all, are drummers (including myself), but which drummer do you think was better in Slayer? Paul Bostaph or Dave Lombardo? All the people seem to prefer Dave Lombardo, but I think Paul Bostaph was better. The "Divine Intervention" album was just amazing.

I expect someone to come in here and Slayer sucks.

If Slayer sucked they wouldn't tour the world and sell lots of records.

But my pick is Dave, hes awesome. Really fast and clean. When he comes in during Seasons in the Abyss just shows how great he is.

I R a drummer but

I don't like slayer or double kick so i don't have an opinion on them

except

Lombardo was in Fantomas woooooo

Double kick doesn't sound great IMO and why use two pedals when you can learn it on one?

Like the Metallica song shortest straw i can play on single kick.

I can't stand kits like that. They give a wider range of sounds but you barely use them apart from boring rolls across them.

I cannot stand uber ammounts of toms either, I use a 12" and a 16". Minamally.

But in Metal, the more toms you have, the bigger your **** is

I don't really like Slayer all that much but yeah, the drumming is pretty good.

I like the song Seasons In The Abyss.
