I need to know if this is a decent song, pretty much it. I wrote it for a lot of different reasons. The end is a bit choppy. C4C.

Tale begins, Story of two young red eyed lovers.
Their parents didn't know but we saw it through the shutters.

2 years past, their life was in the fast lane.
They did too many drugs, too much ****, knew too many names.

At the end of their road,
with nowhere left to go.
Flicker out like the lighted chandelier.
With nothing left to do but hang here.

5 years later, they were to damn old to care.
They parted ways, split the money and took their share.

2 years past again and they never met
She was hopelessly in love, and he'd never forget.

8 year gap, from the time they never moved on.
They danced with their new lover to their favourite song.

At the end of their road,
with nowhere left to go.
Flicker out like the lighted chandelier.
With nothing left to do but hang here.

That one year, they met in spain on the ballroom floor.
They ditched their mates, danced and drank like they did before.

17 years, their lips pressed and that one last look.
This kiss was more awkward than the first they ever took.

Their lucky number was 11:11.
They went out and drove that night down to the water.
She knew what love was cuz he never forgot her.
He knew what love was cuz she was his heaven.
They never question their love again.

At the end of their road.
They both knew where to go.
They were lovely like the chandelier.
re-kindled as they lay here.

Rhyming isn't forced if it makes sense and flows.

I like it, what style is it meant to be? im thinking either linkin park style and more of a rap sound to the verses, or the the more random nirvana type sound.

I think the style is going to be a funky rock song with an upbeat feel. Maybe just some powerchords and single notes with a good backing bass and simple drums.
